One Game A Week

In an effort to improve my game development skills I decided to set a goal for myself this year, which is to create one game every week. I also thought it might help to get some of my ideas down about the weekly project, like how/why I picked that game to develop and what I learned working on it, as well as for reference later, and to see how far I've come by the end of the year.

Since this year started on a Friday, my goal is to release a new game every Friday this year. Although, I don't plan on making any other hard and fast rules, and I may try some new things this year. Such as working in a group, or using another framework (other than Phaser), or trying out different hosting service (like Gamejolt or itch.io, or perhaps even developing on another platform like iOS or Android.

Also, if possible, I'd like to participate in more game jams this year. Last year I had participated in Ludum Dare (specifially #LD32 and #LD34) as well as the One Game A Month challenge, and had really enjoyed the experience.

Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself....time to go make games!!
